Ito Onsen Dream Fireworks
- Shizuoka prefecture Ito city Higashimatsubara 178 - 36
- This fireworks display stretches over 10 nights with Ito Bay as its stage. It is a popular summer tradition in Ito Onsen. Every night, about 1,000 rounds of fireworks are launched from the Matsubara embankment to vividly color the night sky. There are few obstructions around the launching site, allowing you to see the fireworks from a relatively wide area. The nearby Nagisa Park is an especially popular viewing spot. During the nights of the display, there is a viewing cruise (reservations required) to watch the fireworks from the sea and many lodging facilities that offer special fireworks viewing plans, bringing crowds of many spectators every year.

- This fireworks festival is held every year on August 15 in Suwa City, Nagano Prefecture, on the Lake Suwa. With approximately 40,000 fireworks, this fireworks festival is the largest in Japan. Lake Suwa, surrounded by Mountains enables spectators to enjoy the sense of the powerful fireworks not only with their eyes and ears but one can even feel the reverberations. Water surface starmine fireworks on the lake, and the over two kilometer long Great Niagara Falls firework display are a must see. Public transportation is recommended, due to anticipated massive traffic within Suwa City during this annual festival.
