Getting Around

A long way from Tokyo, Nagasaki Prefecture is best reached via Nagasaki Airport, which will take you one hour and 50 minutes. Accessing the prefecture from around Kyushu proves less challenging, with the JR Limited Express Kamome taking you directly from Hakata Station in Fukuoka city to Nagasaki Station and ferries from Kumamoto prefecture sailing you across the Ariake Sea directly to the Shimabara Peninsula.
