How to get to Tokyo from Narita Airport
Areas

What is Chiba?
The Boso Peninsula forms the main body of Chiba prefecture, and this is where you’ll find its endless warm water beaches and jagged mountains. Further inland, Narita - most famous as the home of Narita Airport - is a secret haven of tradition and history in the form of centuries-old Shinshoji Temple and quaint wooden Edo buildings. Chiba prefecture is also home to both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea.

Getting Around
While most visitors arriving at Narita Airport jump on a Tokyo-bound train without a second thought, this is your time to explore this underappreciated prefecture. With easy access from the airport to an abundance of Chiba attractions, you can hop on a local JR train and be in Narita city in 10 minutes or head down into the Boso Peninsula, home to 500 kilometers of coastline. Ferry trips from Chiba to Tokyo or Kanagawa offer scenic alternatives to the train.
