The Sewers and The Gummi Ship!

Zeal would move into the bustling town, nodding to the passers by with a faint smile. It was quite busy, in the mornings now, taking his time, gudiing Reimei off into the sewers. There was a tunnel off to the side, sliding down into the river trench, being careful of things. "Stay close... Haven't been in here for awhile." The young hero would suggest with a kind tone, staying out of the water purposefully. The trinkling water was like a gentle stream in sound, as they went into the tunnel. Zeal kept his grasp on Reimei's hand, firm as he guided them along. Assumably, the little rabbit, Injezever, would be right behind them.

Getting into the deeper section of the tunnel, it would open up into a larger room with various sewer passageways. The stench wasn't all that becoming as they got to the opening. Zeal would let go of Reimei's hand, folding his arms with a contemplative glance, looking between the tunnels, twisting his mouth slightly in contemplation. "Well... So we're here... Now where was it again?" Zeal gives an honest question of confusion, looking to Reimei and then Injezever with a blank expression before looking back to the tunnels. "We'll have to guess... I guess." He jests lightly, making a faint laugh, before going silent, looking to Injezever and Reimei, feeling more than a little awkward at that moment, rubbing the back of his head. "Well... Shall we get to searching?" Three tunnels leading to three different areas of the sewers are present.

Right after Oken arrived to the place that is called, "Twilight Town", he could see that the people around that town has come and go, doing all their usual morning chores. As he slowly reminiscing the time he had here back before all the Death accident happened, "Time really flies!! I can't believe it's already 1 year since I last see this town!! I wonder if that protector of this town still here though.. What's his name again??" He traveled around the town with his full gear on, mask covering his nose to mouth region, hood being raised to cover his upper head region and also face, and his wooden sword hanging on his waist. Looking at how people greet each other with a faint smile across their face, Oken started to smile. No, he was actually grinning!!! But too bad, no one can see his wide cheerful grin for it was covered in a piece of fabric. It is not too long before Zeal finally nodded to him with a faint smile on his face, "Wait a minute!! Isn't that??" He swiftly turned his back around and observed the back appearance of said, "Protector of Twilight".

"Blonde Hair, green vest, red shirt... That is definitely him!! but who is that girl he's dragging?? Hmm..." Just when he began his pondering, he could spot a big ass rabbit following them as they headed toward the sewer. "What the!!! A rabbit that big?? It must have been an illusion!! Yes, Yes!! An illusion... Relax maaan!!" Ignoring what he had saw just a moment ago, he followed them up to the point where they entered the sewer. He kept quite a safe distance from the group in order not to raise any speculation nor ruckus among the group. He tiptoed through the sewer and stopped walking when they stopped. He put all his attention to the smallest detail and movement. "Damn!! If they still planned to keep on walking up to the end of this sewer, I would come bluntly at them and act as an assassin!!" *laughs evilly* "Whoops!! Hope no one heard that"

Reimei was pulled along by the hand as Zeal lead the way into the sewers. The woman tried not to get frustrated at where the rabbit placed herself. She found it difficult to walk along without trying to hurt the rabbit accidentally. However, there was nothing she could do about it. Injezever would have been lost otherwise with her size. Suddenly, Zeal dropped the fighter's hand and his facial expression revealed his statement before it was said. He no longer knew what way to go.

The Sagarre sighed softly, and glanced back down to her hand that was holding her dog tags. She contemplated whether asking her question now was a good time. Reimei opened her mouth then shut it when Zeal pointed out the three tunnels to start the search. She silently slipped the dog tags back on and looked at the tunnels in thought. "I say we take the one on the far left. " The woman suggested before heaving a strange noise coming from the tunnel behind them. The fighter looked over her shoulder and saw nothing but the darkness they just stepped out of. I'm probably just hearing things. Could be a rat.

Reimei looked back to Zeal and folded her arms. "It makes sense to start from the left. But there is three of us. We could always split up if we need to. It's just the question if there was a way to communicate between all of us." The other suggestion made more sense to the fighter rather than going into the tunnel one by one. It would take too long, and the Sagarre would prefer not to waste time when "freedom" was so close.

Zeal took a moment of pause, glacning behind him at hearing something, though was quickly distracted by Reimei's suggestions. He smiles to her, nodding, glancing to Injezever and then back to Reimei, looking to the left tunnel in thought. The young hero moves ot adjust his vest a moment, contemplating the left tunnel and then the other two, before turning to the two fully, smiling fully. He motions to each of them, nodding in encouragement.

"Alright, I think for one thing, we probably should stick together... That heartless from before, is a bad sign and if things get out of hand, in any of these tunnels we'll want to be together. There is safety in numbers, afterall." He says this in a kind, upbeat tone, smiling between them, even though his sentiment had a faint foreboding, to it.

Zeal's eyes trailed down the way they came again, a moment in thought. I did hear something... It could be a heartless... Or just a rat. Either way, us splitting up, sounds less and less appealing. His gaze would go back to the bunny and Reimei again, turning after that, motioning for them with a smile. "Lets get moving then... We'll be out of Twilight Town and onto adventure soon enough." He explains with a confidence in his voice. His hand resting on his wooden rod as they go down the left tunnel. Running water going down the pipe, as his own eyes adjust to the light of the tunnel.

Injezever's attention turned backwards with Zeal's at the odd short sound. She unlike Zeal stared a moment longer into the shadows behind them. Her ears perking slightly she waited hopefully for a repeat sound. Should Zeal and Reimei keep moving she might fall a little behind. Injezever's mind stired.."I hope it's not that crow man again.. He will try to eat me!" Worry thoughts rushed through Injezever's head. distracted a moment longer...

Her humming having stoped while her thoughts ran deep she followed Reimei and Zeal slowly. (should they move.) Her foot-steps light avoiding getting her furr to damp of the wet ground.. making sure to all together miss water spots. As she would start to follow her eyes would often stray behind them.. following at a slightly slower pace. "I hate crows.." she thinks.. "They preferr to eat bunnies you know." She sniffled softly to herself. Contuieing to glance back and forward as she paced.

[Oken]

He saw how the party reacted towards his short evil laugh and instinctively moved towards the wall and presses his back on the wall stealthily. Crap!! They do notice me!! What should I do now... With no hesitation at all, he made a squeaking kind of sound that supposedly sounds like the sound of a rat!! C'mon, C'mon! It would not be a good sight for me to get discovered being still alive. At least not at this point of time!! Luckily for him, the party seems to buy his trick and decided to ignore his laughs. As a result, he moved his hand around and do a little victory dance to celebrate the overcoming of one mishaps!! O yeah! Who's the man? Uhhuh!! Okay, Play time's over!! Not long after that he could see that the party started to move away and headed towards the left tunnel. Phew, that was a close call. I thought for a second there I'm done for!! *chuckle* Hmm... Wait a minute!! The rabbit's still there!! Then it is no illusion... I wonder.. How much people could be satisfied with a rabbit that big!! Slowly resuming his trailing, he brushes off the dusts that was on his shoulder and took his wooden sword from his side so that it couldn't bump into walls or things, making unwanted sounds.

Now!! Be a good sword and stay quiet!! He whispers silently while he points his index finger to that sword. As he presses onward with his journey through the sewer, he stopped right after he saw the random placement of puddle on the ground. Oh crap... Better be careful He tiptoed through the maze of puddle and accidentally stepped on one. Damn! I can't walk like this!![.i] As he stopped for a while, he could see that the distance among Oken and the party is now on quite a distance. [i] Aaah!! The heck with this!! If they want to find out, let them finds out. No longer caring what or where he stepped, he marches onward just like soldiers with guns and no hesitation at all. All he cared about now is to meet the guy who is once, an old war friend and to make sure whether that rabbit is for real or not.

This time, Reimei chose not to follow so closely behind Zeal. While there was still light, she let Injezever be in front with plenty of space between the rabbit and herself. When the trio were in the left tunnel, the Sagarre thought she was far enough behind the bunny when she could just see the outline of Injezever's form. She did not only take this for the sake of practicality, but also for a good position to defend the group if the need was required.

The woman had heard tales of people living in the sewers instead of the world above ground. It was typically under the circumstances that they had lost housing on the surface. The one thing that the fighter couldn't understand was how could a person live down here? The only way to get food is through the tainted rats, and the polluted water would be unhealthy to drink. Could it be possible that there are cities here? Then again, if that was true, we could be walking into a den of thieves. It would make finding this gummi ship unnecessarily difficult.

As the group trudged along the cement walkways, they stepped through a puddle from a leak in the ceiling. Reimei was alerted when a forth being sloshed through the puddle not too far behind them. The Sagarre summoned her weapon to her right hand and kept moving. She found it fruitless to make the rest of the group alarmed just in case if it was another rat. However, the weapon was on terms of; "rather be safe than sorry."

It was not much longer that the sound of falling feet was unmasked. The sound echoed along with the trio's footsteps. "Wait a minute." Reimei whispered softly and paused. The extra feet were definitely coming from behind them, the woman deduced. She turned around and positioned herself into a defensive form. A thief?

Zeal moves along carefully, squinting into the darkenss as his eyes adjust to the light of the tunnel. He didn't look back for any period of time, rather content with focusing on his path down the tunnel. When he hears the sounds of footsteps, behind them, he turns abruptly, gripping his wooden rod firmly. He hears Reimei's words about 'Wait a minute' and grows further alarmed, squinting into the darkness, seeing now, a simple silhouette of Oken. His focus becomes serious, with a stern glare behind them, he calls out. "You there!... speak up now! At least so we know you're not a heartless!"

Zeal's voice echoes throughout the tunnel, with his strong voice, ricocheting along the walls. His stance is firm, moving his foot in front ofh is himself, drawing out his wooden rod from his back, awaiting a response. He didn't change his attention from down the tunnel. His only thoughts were to protect the group if he needed to. Come on then... Be a person or something, so I don't have to fight... again.

The figure in the shadows lifted up an arm like appendage. With a squeak, fire flashed from inside a glass lantern. The shadowed figure holding the lantern was revealed to be a shabby old man in ragged clothes. He looked at the trio up and down then grinned with only the handful of teeth he hand left. The man used his free hand's index finger to gently push away the iron pole aimed at him.

"Heartless? You're definitely not from down 'ere. Surfacers, right?" The man's accent was oddly different than the one above ground. It was as if the words melded into a mumbling chatter, making it difficult to decipher. "What is it that you want here, in these sewers?" The man's grin faded into a tight smile.

Reimei lowered her staff warily. This harmless old man was the one she had made everyone so frightened of. Could it be that there was a reason to be frightened of the one so familiar in these shadows? The woman glanced back to Zeal and Injezever for a moment before addressing the stranger. "We are looking for this thing called a gummi ship. Do you know what it is?" The man nodded his head. "Well, we are looking for one but it should be really old according to my friend who dumped it off here," the fighter explained.

The stranger bent down and rested the lantern on the ground as he fished in his pockets for something. He pulled out a blank piece of paper and a crudely fashioned writing utensil. The old man drew a map and then the directions. "It was there," he simply said as he passed the map and the lantern to the Sagarre. Before Reimei could thank the man, he had already started walking back the way he came.

"So let's get to this ship, shall we?" Reimei then offered the lantern and map to Zeal since he was leading the way. I get the feeling that we were pretty close to danger. Could have been a scout. He seems too smart despite his degraded speech.

Zeal watches as the sewer man explains himself and the directions of the sewers. The young hero just nods faintly and gives a kind smile to the man. His eyes shift over to Reimei after a few moments of a pause, giving a smile to her. He nodded to her question and began to head down the way that was suggested, paying little heed to the man heading off into the darkness of the tunnel, in the other direction.

Thankfully the sewers has little spots where grates are to light parts of the sewers as they move. The stout and strong hero followed the path that was directed. "We'll be there soon, I'm sure." Zeal explains confidently. As they reach an opening, following the directions of the old man, he looks back to make sure that Reimei and Injezever are alright, giving them an excouraging smile.

He turns back to the opening into this larger chamber and there, sitting in the light of a grate, is a dirty ship. It looks like a big contraption, made out of huge lego pieces. Little bits of gunk and green are on the ship, the young hero would notice, smiling a bit to himself as he approaches. "Well this is the gummi ship... Looks a bit dirty, but it might still run, well enough." The young hero pulls out a key, opening the hatch to the gummi ship, looking back to the two a moment to see if they were coming. "Lets find out?"

//Sorry for the late posting!... I'll be gone for Memorial Day Weekend. And Oken, you can slip back into the posting at anytime. It was almost a week though, since you were supposed to have posted, so we weren't going to wait. ^^;

Injezever watched the man thankful he ws not a crow man. She tryed to stay clear of his sight while they talked. Although doubtfully she managed. Trying to peek at the instructions curiously as they were handed about. She pretty much clung to Reimei through the encounter after having been protected by her before Injezever trusted to a higher degree.

As Zeal lead them off again Injezever's ears still stood on alert. The odd stranger left her wondering but she refused to think of the kind old man badly. Zeal smiled a lot Injezever noticed. When Injezever could she smiled back. He seemed nice even if he did seem rather reckless all the time. Injezever pulled lose a carrot as they walked. She took a few bites before she remebered her manners and offered it to Reimei smiling, also offering to zeal. She did not want to be rude after Trevor had been so nice to help her get them.

She laughed and humed until they came into sight of the gummi ship. She didn't even notice till it was pointed out. Injezever stared with wide eyes as the weird colourful object moved opening a door at Zeal's command. Injezever was impressed the creature so large listened to Zeal. Injezever's mouth stood agape while Zeal spoke to them about his Gummi Ship.

Injezever circle the Gummi ship trying to find away to climb ontop. If they were going to ride it they would obviously have to get ontop...She tryed to climb it.

Reimei followed behind Zeal in a more easy-going manner. There was nothing to fear now that there was a map to take the trio to the gummi ship. Despite the surface grates dripping and the scratching of rats running from place to place, the sewers had a "home-like" sense. The woman glanced down at the bunny near her and smiled slightly how tense Injezever still was. Suddenly, Injezever took out a carrot and offered Zeal and the Sagarre one.

"Thanks," She said plainly, assuming that the rabbit offered the carrots to lower her own anxiety. The fighter took the carrot and nibbled on it as they made their way along the route.

The sewer finally opened to a large chamber, revealing the ship. "I'm guessing we have to clean this thing for it to run?" Reimei attempted to hide the disgusted tone, but was failing at it. The gunk and the green patches on the ship could be anything! As desperate as the woman was to get out of this place, being a janitor was not on her list of things to do.

Reimei turned her attention to Zeal when she heard a hissing sound. The air from the gummi ship was escaping from the hatch opening and Zeal was standing right by it with his key in his hands. "I guess not then," The Sagarre muttered. She walked up to the hatch and paused when seeing Injezever struggle to get up somewhere. Reimei walked over to Injezever and picked her up. The woman made her way to the hatch, holding the rabbit.

Once inside the ship, the fighter set the bunny down and looked at her surroundings. This might be a little more than tight for all three of us. I suppose Zeal often traveled alone from place to place. How odd.... Well, he will need to get a new ship anyways. This one does not look too healthy. Probably wont even start up.

//Sorry for the really really late post!! I had loads of study back when I still have the exam *which I aced XD* Along with some family trip for a couple of weeks XP Anyway!! Now I'm here and back for some more RPing!!

While Oken marches onward with an idea whom he thought to be the best option at that point of time, suddenly there's an old man that emerges out from the dark parts of that sewer and surprised him. "Shoot!!" By quickly realizing the appearance of an unexpected guest, he swiftly spotted the darkest area that could be reached with such a little amount of time and swiftly leaped off the ground in order to reach there. Then he presses his back on the moist and moldy wall while spying on the girl that is currently conversing with the old man. "What the heck? What kind of people lives here in the sewer? Urrgh... Of all the time in the world, why should he come now?" He spent his time there peeking over to the party and also eavesdrop their conversation attentively up until discovering the fact about searching for gummi ships. "Gummi ship... I see!! I have never even thought of the sewer as a good hiding place for a gummi ship!! Better put that on note!" Slowly resuming their journey past the sewer, but now with a firm direction ahead, Oken followed them, resuming his old speed. Slowly but surely.

He followed the party up until the point where he himself could see the gummi ship. As all the questions that he had in mind being answered one by one, he began to make yet another set of question. But one that bugs him the most would be, "Who owns this gummi ship?" With this question in his mind, he started to mutter words that are unclear to everybody except himself. Not long after that, he spotted an opened wooden crate along with a big sentence that said, You want it? Come and get it... "Hmm there's a letter here!! Let's see now... there's something about a married couple... the man leaves his home... missing for a few days.... and ended up cheating?? Now that's a story. I guess these things are free for the taking then?" Slowly, a smile creeps out from Oken's face as he began to dig deep into the box while throwing away clothes and things that he didn't like until he came across these two undeniably long scarfs. One was colored blue while the other was red. "Now these things are nicee!! You're mine!!" Feeling satisfied with what he just obtained, he took one step to the back and stepped on a banana peel. *slip* "O CRAAP!!!"
