Ooasahiko Shrine

Shrine
This shrine is dedicated to two Shinto deities, Osahiko-no-Okami and Sarutahiko no Okami. Although the exact date of its founding is unclear, this ancient shrine had already become one of the representative shrines of Awa Province by about 1,100 years ago. The shrine’s sacred tree, a more than 1,000-year-old camphor tree, has been designated as a Naruto City cultural property.
