Society has come to an end. The world has been plunged into chaos. The lands are plagued by roaming beasts and raiders during the day. At night, things not of this plane of reality take over. Gates to the other side occasionally open up unexpectedly letting more abnormalities through. Yet survivors still try to etch out a life for themselves. They have even found new allies form the other side.
A few humans have taken to trying to hold on to the remnants of their former lives, even getting some of the few major cities back up and running. Others have started fortress cities out on the frontier and in the wilds. Most have turned to wandering around the world scavenging.
But humans are no longer alone. Elves, dwarves, orcs, orgres, vampires, lizard men, demons; monsters and creatures from every fantasy have come to call the planet home. The portals seem open to many different worlds, some to different times. It is unclear where they all stand and even the few alliances that have been made are not set in stone.
This is a time of fallen worlds and new beginnings. Even a nobody can be become a legend when history stands at this crucial era.
From the rise and fall of majestic kingdoms to the political conflicts in a highly advanced society, the Twilightus Universe is filled with all sorts of adventures yet to be explored.
