    This is the largest of the four ski resorts in the Niseko area. With the Siberian chill that blows in on the area’s seasonal wind, you can enjoy the finest powder snow. It has 15 gondolas and lifts, a rich variety of 30 runs, and Mt. Yotei rising before your eyes. The resort is enormous, so it’s a good idea to bring a course map the first time you visit. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes at the foot of the resort, so you’ll always be able to find good eating and drinking options.
  • Zao Onsen Ski Resort

    This is a ski resort located in Zao Onsen Yamagata City Yamagata Prefecture boasting the largest land area in Tohoku. The courses have a wide variety of length and inclines and it is also enjoyed by school excursion parties as well as families and couples. The upper ice-field course offers a wide view of the signature frost-covered trees. Seeing the magical frost-covered trees illuminated at night is a must. The Zao Onsen town spreads out from the mountain’s foot.
  • Furano Ski Resort

    Furano Ski Resort is a ski resort in Furano owned by New Furano Prince Hotel. There are two areas with a total of 24 courses can be enjoyed by advanced through to beginner skiers; the Kitanomine zone has good quality snow and a diverse array of courses while the Furano zone mainly has long run courses. In January to February you can ski on a surface of dry powder snow. Snowboarding is available on all courses. There is also a kids experience program which is perfect for first-time skiers and playing in the snow.

    This ski resort opened in 1972. The Niseko area gets a lot of snowfall from the northwest seasonal winds and is sometimes called a Ski Mecca and the St. Moritz of the East. Its longest run is more than three kilometers and provides heaps of fun on the comfortable cruise down the slope. With plenty of courses for families and juniors, the resort offers a great time for the whole family in the Niseko Area.

    This ski resort is in Sapporo's Minami Ward. The expansive resort has seven slopes for everyone from beginners to experts. There are also snowboard courses and children's slopes so snowboarders and family groups are also welcome. They also offer clothing and other rentals as well as ski-related goods for sale.

    Ski resort in Sapporo City in Chuo Ward. Lots of visitors use this ski resort in the winter but summer offers a wide variety of activities as well. Try the tennis courts the park golf course and other outdoor leisure activities. They also offer ski rentals and skiing classes for beginners.

    Visitors can enjoy skiing and snowboarding at GRANDECO SNOW RESORT during the season as well as being a place to experience three of the one hundred top mountains in Japan regardless of the season. Enjoy a spectacular view of Urabandai Plateau from the panorama gondola reaching an altitude of approximately 1400 meters. There are guided tours of the DECODAIRA Marshlands which located at 1320 meters above sea level is ideal as a trekking spot. It is approximately 30 minutes by car from Inawashiro-Bandaikogen Interchange on the Ban-etsu Expressway.

Easy access from Ashikawa or Sapporo making this a popular leisure spot for skiers.

    This is a ski resort famous for its powder snow located about 40 minutes by car from Inawashiro-Bandaikogen Interchange. The ski slope spreading across the northern slope of Mt. Nekomagadake has good quality snow throughout the season and offers 13 courses from beginners to advanced skiers. Visitors can also enjoy the world top level course which professional snowboarders use as a practice area for slopestyle competitions. In the restaurant you can enjoy ski resort food such as ramen noodles and large portions of cutlet and curry.
